In life as well as in business, some of the best experiences come out of left field. In the Fall of 2022 I met Paul and his wife Roseann on an evening out in Rancho Mirage, CA. We connected instantly, sharing ideas about life, cigars and men’s fashion. His wife was intrigued about my business and started following The Man Makes The Suit on instagram. A few months later during the holidays, we met up at their favorite Italian restaurant in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Unexpectedly in early 2023, I received a phone call from Paul expressing interest in having a custom suit made. Shortly thereafter in the Spring we had our initial consultation, reviewing fabrics for both suits and shirts, as we selected an agreeable starting point for his new wardrobe.

Our second meeting consisted of a “try-on”- which is part of our process in creating a bespoke pattern for each and every one of our clients. In this part of the experience/journey we look at a partially finished suit, making adjustments and ensuring that every part of the suit fits exactly as it should.

Fast forward to 4-5 weeks Paul and I met for the final delivery which included his neckwear selection, pocket square choices, and a final look at his footwear in selecting the right shoes to compliment his outfits.

Every experience is unique just like each of my clients, but one thing always remains the same: creating an outfit that my clients want to wear and not leave in their closet is the ultimate goal. You never know who you are going to meet and you never know where your next great business relationship will come from. So goes the journey of The Man Makes The Suit.

Some of life’s best experiences happen when you least expect it.
