Currently traveling to Florida for business. Today was the perfect example of, “If you can’t risk it- you
can’t prosper”.
You never know what pathway life’s journey will take you on. You have to be willing to extend yourself
to people and not take everyday circumstances for granted.
If you want to become inspired, find your cave. Every man needs his cave to regroup, meditate and slow himself down.
Call me old school, but this is how life and business is created.
I was flying from Nashville to Phoenix in September of 2022. I quickly discovered this wasn’t just another plane flight.
The way I look at each day is you have two opportunities that are in your control when you leave the house. Be friendly towards others and get to know them; or just ignore those around you.
A plane flight is one of the best opportunities you can have to meet others. So why not get to know the person you’re seated next to.
To make a long story short, I met this gentleman sitting next to me in the exit row. This led to us sharing stories about our business, and exchanging information. Fast forward a few months later, I traveled to his place of residence back in Nashville, reviewed his wardrobe, and he became a client. The best part about this experience was that it once again confirmed to me don’t judge a book by its cover and don’t take your next hello for granted.
Unfortunately, we live in a world where people are too busy to share their story, missing out on some of life’s greatest opportunities, not to mention amazing moments!
The moral of this story is everyone has a story. So don’t be too busy to share yours!
